¶ Visual alignment accessory
The camera helps put the cut where you want it on an existing part. That is its job. These Gweike clips show placing the accessory, picking a feature, and shifting the origin. You still need a working FTC head, the correct process row, and every door interlock working. The accessory has to be fitted to your machine first.
¶ What the official videos show
- The accessory is sold as an M-Series alignment aid for centering on a workpiece instead of guessing with the red-light frame alone.
- Gen 2 clips describe “one tool” used to speed centering. The spoken track on the announcement clip is marketing; treat only the on-machine placement and origin-shift as procedure.
- After the camera/tool proposes a position, the operator still has to confirm the red-light path stays on the stock and that clamps are clear.
¶ Owner checks before trusting it
- Confirm the accessory is actually fitted and enabled in the mLaser build that came with this machine. A YouTube title does not mean your serial number includes it.
- Run a no-emission frame after every alignment. Vision that is 3 mm off still fires a laser 3 mm off.
- Do not skip FTC calibration because a camera is present.
- If LightBurn is involved: LightBurn does not support the M-Series as of 21 August 2026. Vision in mLaser does not change that.
Promo announcement clips for the same product stay on Official Gweike M-Series videos and are not procedures.
