¶ What is the machine doing?
Pick the closest symptom. Check the setup first. Do not start by turning power up, poking service parameters, or rewiring.
Stop: smoke, arcing, water near electrics, damaged optics or fiber, exposed conductors, unexpected emission, fire, or a failed interlock.
